As with all sites there has to be a few rules, each of which have to be strictly adhered to. These are imperative to both the health of this site and your earnings potential, we like to think that this rules are hard but fair. Once you have finished reading these I suggest that you also head over to our Terms of Service.
Rule 1: Plagiarizm, if it is brought to our attention via DMCA and the DMCA is found to be valid, is an offence punishable by permanent removal of your account and the banning of your IP address. Under no circumstances do we condone the copying of other peoples work. It is acceptable for you to pay somebody else to write your content, but you hold the ultimate responsibility of ensuring that any outsourced work is carried out with integrity.
Rule 2: All content must be unique. This rule differs from rule 1 in that we can often differentiate between stolen content and content which is clearly owned by you but duplicated across sites. We ask however that you avoid the temptation to copy and paste your old material, purely on the basis that the content will effectively be worthless to this site and to you. Persistant failure to heed warnings may result in your priviledges being temporarily or permanently reduced from ‘Author’ status to ‘Contributor’ status; a contributor has to await approval of their posts.
Rule 3: The longer the content the better it will perform in the search engines, this site invites both short excerpts or long articles. We do ask however that your excerpts are at least 50 words in length. Whilst we do not have a filter in place to catch posts which are less than 50 words, we will take notice if your content is consistently under 50 words in length. Persistant failure to heed warnings may result in your priviledges being temporarily or permanently reduced from ‘Author’ status to ‘Contributor’ status.
Rule 4: We reserve the right to remove material which is overly offensive to any individual or group. Examples of material which may be removed include articles which promote racial hatred, religious hatred or articles which could be deemed libelous or damaging. The same applies to comments and forum posts. This site has no intention of operating widespread censorship, we just want a friendly and relaxed environment in which anybody is welcome.
Rule 5: All users must be aged 18 or over to participate in this community, for no reason other than that the minimum age at which an individual can be an AdSense affiliate is 18; there is nothing here at current for users under this age. This rule is unlikely to change in the near future. Ultimately we will not know your age when you join, and neither are you likely to disclose it, but we will remove any account if its owner proves to be underage.
Rule 6: No keyword stuffing or excessive use of tags. Neither of these activities will benefit you anyway, and the likely result is the demotion of your account to contributor level.
Rule 7: Strictly no adult content or adult orientated content permitted. We are alerted to the posting of a number of inappropriate words and quickly review content which contains them. Serious offenders will have their account removed and content deleted, minor offenders will be given a warning against future posts.
Rule 8: All content must be submitted in English. We would truly love to provide a similar service for speakers of other languages, on alternative domains or subdomains, but that simply will not happen unless we become way more successful than we expect to become.
Rule 9: Do not link to any sites which promote any illegal activities or illegal content. Do not link to, or promote in any way, pornography, gambling sites, illegal movie downloads or online streaming of live television or copyrighted material. Complete account deletion will be deemed appropriate in most instances of a rule 9 breach.
Rule 10: If you are posting an excerpt or bookmark then you are limited to one outgoing link, if you submit a post which exceeds 250 words then we will allow two outgoing links. Please do not post any more than two outgoing links in any single post. Affiliate links are permitted, as long as they do not contravene rules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9.
Rule 11: All of the above rules also apply to the forum.
Rule 11: Do not spam the forums. Please ensure that links are contexual; you are permitted to have one link in your forum signature.
Rule 12: Please note that a temporary or permanent forum ban is also a sitewide ban. Please also note that a site ban is also a forum ban.
