There are several ways for readers to navigate posts on this site, according to analytics statistics most will simply use the page navigation at the bottom of the homepage, scrolling through posts in chronological order of publication.
Alternatively, you can view posts by category via the drop down box to the right hand side of every page on the site. This will sort posts by topic. Each of the current open Excerptz categories are listed and linked to below:
Arts Automotive Babies & Toddlers Business Careers Celebrity Computer Games Computers Education Entertainment Environment Fashion Film Finance Fitness Food Freebies Gadgets Gardens & Plants Health History Home & Family Home Improvement Humor Internet Kids Law Literature Military & War Music Nature News People Pets & Animals Philosophy Politics Pregnancy Product Reviews Quotations Real Estate Reference Religion Science Shopping Sport Technology Toys & Games Travel Websites & SEO Weddings Writing
Each post submitted on Excerptz is given between 2-6 ‘tags’, these are relevant words or phrases chosen by the posts author. The primary benefit of tags is that search engines robots use them to navigate around the site working out what and where to index content. There is however no reason why you can’t use the tags yourself to navigate. In the right hand sidebar you will see our ‘tagosphere’ which shows some of the sites more common tags. In addition we also have a popular tags page which lists the 800 most common tags in order of the frequency of their use.
We also have a cool little photo gallery which automatically aggregates all images in the Excerptz media library and displays them in gallery format, beneath each image is a link to the article that it is displayed on.
